  1. Think it's safe to assume he'd cost more than £9,999.99.
  2. Yep, they were bragging on this weeks ago saying their hit squads would assassinate Hamas leaders wherever they happened to be. Their attitude to diplomatic alternatives seems to be, 'Sod other countries' sovereignty, sod diplomacy, we're Jewish and we do what the **** we like'. From a few weeks back: https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/israeli-security-chief-recording-vows-hunt-down-hamas-abroad-kan-tv-2023-12-03/#:~:text=Israeli security chief in recording vows to hunt down Hamas abroad,-Reuters&text=JERUSALEM%2C Dec 3 (Reuters),public broadcaster Kan on Sunday. https://www.wsj.com/world/middle-east/israel-plans-to-kill-hamas-leaders-around-the-world-after-war-da88e6b9
  3. Does seem rather cheap for a young'un banging in goals in the Championship.
  4. Killed my Twitter account so can't check out TC9, whoever they are, but I'd be quite excited if this were true as he seems like one of the hottest properties in L2 right now and I doubt it would be just us and Charlton who were prepared to take a punt. Think PW was unlucky to lose Embleton so swiftly, as my hunch is that he was key to the way PW wanted us to play, so if this is true, I'd imagine this lad is meant to fill the same role.

That's kind of the point I'm making bud. It's sad to see the state of him to be honest, which is why I'm hoping some time with his family might be on the cards.
  6. I think there might be more than one reason that TJJ is being so 'carefully managed'. I hope I'm right. I also hope that we get him signed up ASAP. He's got bags of potential, but that will obviously need weighing against his injury record and I'd be wanting specialists to be having a long look at him to see whether his issues are chronic, or now behind him, before making any longer term commitment. If he is over his woes though, it's a big yes from me.

Was pretty hacked off with the way he conducted himself under Cocu, but he did redeem himself with me after that being an absolute rock for the club through some very dark times. As such, I bear the man no ill will really, far from it. That said, watching Brum implode has been hilarious, which on reflection, only serves to make me appreciate Wazza even more. On a serious note, management clearly does not suit him in any shape or fashion, he looks terrible and is aging rapidly. High time he stepped back, minded himself a bit and spent some time with the family, I reckon.
  8. Wouldn't put anyone off Pain Hustlers, starring the always excellent Emily Blunt as a down on her luck mum needing her next big win. Won't say too much more, other than it's a decent way to spend a couple of hours. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15257160/ 7/10
  9. 1Wildsmith. 6.0 A poor game by Joe's high standards 24Nyambe. 6.0 Struggled manfully, overloaded at times 35Nelson. 6.5 An average run -out - he's human after all 6Cashin. 7.0 Decent without showing the same form as in recent games 3Forsyth. 6.0 Not Fozzy's best game but like Nyambe, he had plenty on 20Elder. 7.0 Thought he looked good in a moderate team performance 4Hourihane. 5.5 Has looked so much better in recent outings, but this was a poor showing 16Thompson. 6.5. Ran hard and was not disgraced 2Wilson. 7.0 Did well to begin with but faded quickly 24Ward. 6.5 A fair display against his old club who showed him not one ounce of respect 11Méndez-Laing. 6.5. Leggy AF - ran hard but was not as sharp as he can be 19John-Jules. 6.5. Did Ok I thought and interested to know where he goes from here 8Bird. 6.0 An anonymous performance from a tired looking Max - did we set up our midfield incorrectly? 9Collins. 8.5 The man who isn't good enough for many on here ran his heart out and was rewarded with our goals. Man's a Trojan and did not deserve to be on the losing side. 7Barkhuizen 4.5 Early assist then went missing all game - having a really poor season and perhaps needs a move elsewhere 17Sibley. 5.5 Nondescript again Warne Watch: I think with hindsight that Fornah should have started the match, but you could see the gaffer's frustration with the lads even before we conceded the first. We didn't compete at all and I'm not sure we even deserved a point, but if it's to be one really bad game among every 10 or so, I'll gladly take that as we'll be promoted. FWIW, I think the lads gassed themselves getting back into the game against Oxford and without silly errors, both matches would have been a deal less demanding. Seldom complain about refs, as in this league they are all shyte, but the officials yesterday were among the weakest I've ever seen.
  10. Sorry to hear that mate and apologies if I sounded flippant. I hope things improve for you swiftly!
  11. Placed under a curse a whole 17 hours into the New Year. 2024 looking like a long one for you mate 😂
  12. WTF! Really? He was off it today, but he's having a cracking season. If you'd be happy to get shot with any fee 'a bonus' in your opinion, you've clearly not got a scooby.
  13. We've been second best today. Can't argue with the result. It's been a fantastic Christmas run, but we'll need to wipe our mouths and get back on our mettle swiftly, as this was a lacklustre performance. In fairness to the lads, they've run themselves silly in recent games and with half the season to go and a chance to strengthen in the window, I like our chances. COYR
  14. Looking at where that appeared to hit him, he might be Callum Younger now! 🫣
  15. Looking properly leggy which is understandable after the punishing xmas schedule, mostly against the best teams in the division. That said, we've dug deep and got our noses in front. C'mon lads, leave it all on the pitch as a win against these when not on our game would be absolutely massive.
  16. They look a very good side going forwards. Big test this.
  17. He got caught between two minds, that's all. It happens. Cost us nothing ultimately and literally every keeper makes this very same mistake from time to time. All of them. In fairness to you though, Ryan Nelson lambasted him for a full 10 seconds or more, so he clearly wasn't happy either 🤣
  18. Don't think it's too hard to work out what triggered @Eddie's post tbh 😂
  19. I actually love watching the darts, but oddly seldom do. I mostly watch to see the crowds if I'm honest. Organised bedlam is how I'd describe it. A load of our lot are planning to go this year, mainly driven, I might add, by the ladies in our group, not the guys. The last time we did something similar was a weekend in Manchester for the World's Strongest Man comp, which was hilarious* and great fun. *The weekend was hilarious, not the competitors. They weren't funny at all. I seem to remember them doing reps lifting up a car at one point, so not the type of chaps you want seeing you laughing at them!
  20. No idea why really, but this makes me very proud of our club and even more so, our fans. This forum has been grim at times this season, but by and large, the bulk of our support out there in the real world seem to have stuck by PW and the lads and thankfully, are seeing the rewards for their faith. 30K in L1 on NY's day with trains a mess and the game on Sky is pretty damn impressive, I reckon. Fingers crossed again that they get the result they deserve and return home hoarse and happy again having shouted the lads one step closer to the sunlit uplands of the Championship. COYR
