My gut feeling is Mel is struggling for money, liquid money to pay the wages.
-
Typical, I was sat on the toilet when that went in.

I reckon that now deleted Stan Collymore tweet was bang on the money.

Well EFl still not wanting to do Mel any favours so I think unfortunately they will appeal, unless potential new owners have got involved. Their appeal will involve their lawyers crawling through the DC decision, then explaining to the LAP why the DC was too lenient. So I think it could be up to 6 weeks from delivery of the DC decision before the LAP hands down the final decision on sanction. But as others point out the accounts can be filed very soon after the dC decision is published which if I understand it is what we need quickly for embargo reasons
Appeal what ?

The disclaimer on the club website makes me nervous...
* Please note that these fixtures are subject to change and at this stage the fixture list is regarded as a DRAFT.
Games get moved for TV that's what it will mean.

I’ll be going. Not overly concerned about COVID. However, having seen the last two England games I am concerned about the booing of players who take the knee. If it happens at PP I, along with my son and other friends will be leaving and not coming back anytime soon. I am a ST holder and travel 180 miles there and back on match days and follow away when I can. I am also a person of colour, and the booing is something neither myself and my son will put up with. The excuse that the booing is against Marxism is laughable.
I wouldn't take it personal pal. I think the vast majority of fans who boo the gesture are booing BLM as an organisation and the fact that they want to defund the police and other unsavoury policies.

The atmosphere won't be very good with only a partial attendance.

Well I think Derby should be asking for 15m at the least.
Believe me B4, in a month's time we won't be in a position to ask for that amount.

It doesn't interest me in the slightest. How BBC Sport put the women's results at the top of the page I'll never know.
I don't object to it in any way whatsoever, however the way women are chosen over men to be pundits and commentators just stinks of political correctness.
Each to their own but not for me.

Didn't Wolves get sold for a quid ?
-
It ain't gonna happen.
More chance of Willy Wonka putting a bid in. Scary thing is Mel would take it seriously.

Oh here we go again.

League 1 here we come.

How come Eric is on mute?
Has he caught the achey, Sheikhy, fakes?
Because he's more than likely been told to get lost by the EFL.

Looks like being another long 48 hours doesn't it?
After the reports that "it could be as soon as (this past) Monday".
Maybe it does hinge on which division we're in. Though I would've thought that just affects the price.
Maybe Alonso, and whoever, cannot stump up the money.
Maybe the EFL are actually investigating their backgrounds rather than merely flipping a coin.
Or maybe, as Derby fans, we're destined to spend our lives just waiting....
It's not happening. Bookmark this if you like.

This thread won't get to 100 pages before it turns out that Erik is Arthur Daley reincarnated. They bloke's a chancer and comes across as a walter mitty. Close the thread.
