So you think we are more of a technical side under Warne than a physical one?

At League One level we simply have better players than the rest. Yet largely we still don’t dominate possession and play through teams.

That’s not a bad thing. Warne will get us promoted this season, no doubts, and he deserves credit for that.

But claiming his style of play is more technical than physical is just laughable.

I agree with this analysis. What I don't know is how far an athletic but not technically gifted team can go.

We remember the likes of Wimbledon and stoke but if truth be told, I'd rather we didn't use those as the blueprint.

Great result and warne gets to keep his job for another week 😜

thought we were faster quicker and more aggressive in our play than them.

tommo and adams were excellent… sibley and wilson who looked so bad as make shift full backs against wycombe (yep i said it roy 😉) looked much more at home with license to push on knowing they had a 3 behind them.

glad we got the goals we did as despite all our very encouraging situations there was still a bit of lack of quality from open play in the final thrid, but hey.. clean sheet, 3 goals and weve got it all to lose again (lord help us 😂😂

I don't think the full backs were the problem against Wycombe. Giving up centre midfield and carp finishing did the job.....

Well done on your win and putting things back in your own hands.  I thought we were fortunate at times today, for some reason our early goal seemed to send us in to our shell; Bolton have some decent footballers, who exploited that for the rest of the first half and we were lucky not to go in behind.  Second half a bit more even.

All the best for the run in - as I've said elsewhere I'm hoping we'll both end up in the automatic slots now; but I do think you're probably at the stage where you can't afford any slip ups in the last couple of games.

I've just poured a large glass of red. Enjoy your evenings, Rams.

Rather be in your position tbh but hey ho. My boy's at Pompey University so I know the place and like Derby it's a one team city so a successful team will do wonders for the area.

    Enjoy your promotion lads👍

Of course there isn’t when we get results. It is easy to back a winning team, which we have been doing for the majority of games since November.

But there is definitely something bubbling under the surface. You could feel that in the ground away at Exeter even when we were 1-0 up at HT. I dread to think what it was like at Wycombe on Wednesday.

Don't know as I was stuck in semi-recline mode and couldn't see the screen properly.

Perhaps it was just as well......

Hopefully everyone has got their meltdowns out the way now and at 5 o'clock tomorrow all will be rosey again.

We tend to perform well after a disappointing performance this season, so I think we'll have the 3 points in a more comfortable win than people expect.

Meanwhile,  Bolton and Portsmouth draw to put us back in the driving seat as Peterborough have a tough game everyone seems to be ignoring as I expect Oxford to beat them.

Failing that, bet big on the National and ignore the footie!

Well I am not inconsiderably incandescent with rage.

Turns out my electronically reclining wonder wing-back runs off a rechargeable battery and the fecker has run out........

Just got back from a very long and emotional day... not bothering to catch up on the finer details on here, but a quick check of the page number alone kind of hinted towards a negative aspect to the result...  now confirmed after an equally quick check of the beeb results page.
I'm guessing it's been an equally long and emotional evening for you all.

Fingers crossed for a positive Saturday to come... we simply need to "Go again".

It's 43 pages of the merits and contractual position of my shiny new DFS motorised recliner........

Wish now I'd got it on loan and could send it back. Sadly the returns window has closed.....

    Agreed.

But also we were such a stupid team ...no game management/understanding at all.

Stupid off-sides, terrible free-kicks, shooting that was eye-bleedingly bad, poor anticipation,  giving away free kicks, passing to nobody, running into dead-ends... on and on... just amateurish.

Warne has to take responsibility today, failure to go up and I wouldn't cry if we decided he'd had his chance and looked elsewhere.

Add to that list what looked like time wasting. We seemed to take ages over throw ins and goal kicks at the start of the 2nd half.

No attempt to build momentum at all.

I'll be honest, this is really boring. It's driven me to having a conversation with the Mrs about windscreens is how boring it is

I'll take your windscreens and raise you an office desk pedestal.......🙄
