  1. I don’t read many autobiographies. Which is surprising as I’m quite nosey 😂I’ve got Alan Rickman’s on my kindle though.
  2. I have this but haven’t read it yet. I loved The Foundling by Stacey Halls. I saw her speak at Derby Book Festival a few years ago
  3. I hadn’t heard of these before. I like the sound of The Midwich Cuckoos
  4. I love the Hairy Bikers. I have a few recipe books of theirs. So sad 😢
  5. I’ve always been a bookworm. I usually get through 30-40 books a year. I’m currently reading Uncommon Type by Tom Hanks. Wasn’t sure what to expect but I’m pleasantly surprised. It’s well written and very easy reading. I’d love to hear what you’re reading, what your favourite book is, or some recommendations 📚
  6. It’s really lovely of you all to put the idea forward, but you really don’t need to. I’ve got until the end of April to sort it out. You’re a bloody lovely bunch ❤️
  7. He’s retired so I don’t want to ask him
  8. I’m not sure what to do about a season ticket. I’ve been using B4’s since he passed away. I feel like going to every home match is a bit too much with working full-time. The ticket is expensive and I’ll struggle to afford it as my car insurance is due at the same time. Don’t think my dad is ready to give up B4’s seat yet 😢
  9. There’s a couple of car parks on Riverside Rd near the Derwent Way island. Can take a little while to get out if leaving at full time, but only a little further to walk than Derwent Way.
  10. Another Sunday art attack. I’m inflicting this one on my uncle as a birthday present 😂
  11. It’s on Netflix and Channel 4
  12. Might already have been mentioned but I watched Deadwater Fell this week. Really enjoyed it. David Tennant was very creepy
  13. Photos look a bit grainy but they look clearer in person
  14. I’ve been practising with the pastels. Starting to get better 🎨
  15. Sorry for your loss. Sending love to you and your family x
  16. Thank you again everybody for talking about Daniel and feeling the gap he’s left. I’m feeling the loss tonight. Still don’t think it’s hit me fully yet. But if you have read a previous post by me, I told you about how I wound up Daniel making out he loved turtles. I tried to put a small plastic turtle on his seat at the Shrewsbury match. Unfortunately the packaging ripped and I sent 20 plastic turtles flying over the east stand 😂 Also hurt my ankle again climbing over three rows of seats to pick them up 🐢
  17. Not too early at all Mo Salah and Christiano Ronaldo have a lot of packing to do, they’re going to need notice. We’ll need time to have a whip round to make the prospect of joining DCFC more appealing too 😂😂😂 #BeMoreB4
  18. When I started coming to matches again in November, Collins was the player that stood out for me. There was a good run of decent football, but then it feels like the whole team has got a bit lost. Collins is getting goals in but his performance isn’t standing out as it was a few months ago. I like him though and think his dedication is a good example to some of the younger players.
  19. This is what Daniel would have thought to the match ♥️
  20. I always forget to check the ring before I answer the door. Surprisingly, it’s always me that gets stuck with the chuggers etc 😬 I like watching the foxes though
  21. My main BBG memory is B4 and I meeting Jimmy Greaves outside the ground.
  22. Going to say something footbally 😬 I’ve just watched the goals back from Oxford away. When I first saw Forsyth’s goal I can remember being pleased that someone had finally positioned themselves to open up an opportunity. I’ve found Derby quite rigid this season, don’t know whether there’s a strategy that isn’t quite working or something else, but the connection just isn’t there. They seem to be very reactive rather than proactive. I’ve watched NML and Wilson make some good runs forward only to have nobody there in time to support them and it’s frustrating match in match out to see wasted opportunities.
  23. I’ll start warming up @Mucker1884
  24. I hope so. Literally ended last year with a bang. Fell down the stairs on the first day of my Christmas break and badly sprained my ankle. Still can’t walk far or do stairs easily. Had to laugh that after everything else the year ended like that 😂
