Belper Posted August 7, 2012 Share Posted August 7, 2012 Just got back Deeney - Did ok, punched variable under pressure, could do nothing about the goal Naylor - Looks like a footballer in need of a position Hoganson - Looks pacy and made some good runs, distribution could be better Bailey - Best player on the pitch, good range of passing Gjokal - Looked ok, but not as good as at Northampton Galinski - Dreadful, looked massively out of his depth. At Belper. Richards - Has the positional sense and decision making skills of a lemming booking a caravan holiday at Beachy Head Berrara - Not good enough, tiny, average passer, no end product Doyle - See Naylor Bennett - Looked sharp, unlucky not to score, frustrated by incompetence around him Davies - Usual Davies, hard working average player plus excellent crossing Doyle was good until injured 2 good shots disallowed goal then very poor Bavies crosses where heavy and over weighted Whitam was calm over the ball Morch good keeper safe hands, alot of potential Adams didn't do much stayed in positon Overall a very small squad compared to Belper Towns centre back we played 4-6-0 no strikers and defensively lacking depth, in need of a Shackell like figure in the Derby Outfit Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Tonight's friendly seemed like something we'd forgotten about until yesterday and then tried to piece a squad together with tomorrow in mind.
