Cisse Posted July 27, 2012 Share Posted July 27, 2012 One of my best memories from Olympics is from Los Angeles 1984 when Greg Louganis (diver) won gold. I hadn't followed the sports before but it got a lot of coverage and we had a good commentator. I was able to learn a lot about the finesse of diving and when it came the time to final I was hooked. Louganis made a legendary effort on his last dive and you could sense the atmosphere at home on your couch. I'm still glad that I saw the last dive live. Unforgettable. He's out to do his best for his dad who sadly recently passed away from unoperable brain tumours. His dad was always his biggest fan who tried to hang on to see him compete next week.
