I remember going to BBG when I was younger but don't know which stand we were in it was always the one where if you were stood by the side of the pitch you were lower than it the boards came up to chest height anyone have any idea?

Popside, were you opposite the players tunnel?

I never went to the BBG but I really enjoy listening to Dav and his family when they remenice...Dav stood in the popside and his dad always took him a crate to stand on, he couldn't see owt otherwise. He's mentioned a few times when the pie man came round and folk were passing money down to the front and waited for the pies to come up. Thanks for posting that Ramblur - I really enjoyed watching it. Fancy Real Madrid feeling intimidated - it really must have been something very special to be part of.

Great days, I remember taking my milk crate to stand on and the random "baaa"ing on the way out of the ground after the game- was in my teens when we moved to PP and didn't know what everyone was whinging about when we left the BBG.....it took about 3 minutes of the first game at PP to realise what we had lost 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' /> RIP BBG.
