PistoldPete2
Oh Mrs - couldn't understand it. We sat deep, couldn't keep posession, the worst 1st touches from a fair few of the players I think I've ever seen, Shackell took a throw in and hit the back of Roberts who was hobbling about, Tyson didn's seem to have much of a clue for their first corner, Green hesitant, predicatable (always passing out wide to Ward, not much in the way of creativity...) I'm sure the list goes on Well i am gutted. We really must do better than this. How much spent in the summer? Maguire ; remember him? Bryson subbed at haf time and er Tyson weve waited half a season for a no show. Best group of players for 3 years under clough well may be but really that aint much to boast about is it . Utter sh!te . Must improve or else.........
VulcanRam
Really Reading sounded poor (though not as bad as DCFC)? Why on earth has Bailey been dropped for Carroll, Bailey should start v Southampton also drop Tyson as he sounded like he had a shocker. Maybe we just made them look good, but they passed around us with ease; it was a bit like the Stoke game where we just couldn't get the ball, and when we did, we gave it right back. Reading at least got the ball down, passed it around (to their own players) and ran aggressively at us. Carroll I'm afraid looked totally lost out there, but then most of them had shockers tonight. Shacks and Barks played well, as did Roberts, but that's about that. I don't know what's up with Wardy, but he's gone right off the boil, and with him has gone our entire banks of creativity!! RIMBAUD
why did it take ward another 80 odd mins to take on his full back after the lad had been booked?

Am doing me best to look for the positives and hope this is a mere blot on the page - but the squad have a lot of work to do, starting with a lesson in how to control the ball, cos it really was that bad. Reading didn't play at all well in me humble opinion and took every opportunity to foul and disrupt the game and I seriously think the ball was up in the air more than it was on the pitch (both sides contributed to this). Come on Derby - you can and have done so much better but get it sorted before Saturday, none of us wants to see us take a hammering!
ladyram
On a positive note, Shackell deserved MOM and Tyson has got serious pace but what he needs is for someone to play the ball in front of him and not at his head.

Leeds Ram
well that was awful, I was in two minds whether to go or not because I had an asthma attack on sunday night and am on steroids for my chest. I wish I never made the effort, no direction, no creatvity, no atmosphere and glick wants us to pay more to watch this perfunctory nonsense. Reading looked comfortable, their two forwards in roberts and hunt was it looked sharp and caused problems.

davenportram
Don't think it's a case of Ward going off the boil. More that we are so predictable and play everything down our left the opposition just crowd him out of the game. .

WorksopRam
Poor performance. People sticking up for it by saying that Reading are a decent side are on one. That doesn't affect us not being able to string a pass together.
Leeds Ram
No doubt rotheram ram will be saying we played like Brazil but were simply unlucky and that reading are an excellent outfit which we haven't beaten in years.
networker1884
Awful, uninspiring performance. I said from day one the Tyson would walk into the team because Clough has faith in him. Nevermind who scores or plays well. I believe I'm not allowed to criticise Ball because he's 19, but honestly we could have fielded an Ewok and it would have won more headers. Wish I hadn't gone. I would have been disappointed that I couldn't make it, but watching that I'm disappointed and totally pissed off...
SSD
I thought the game today kinda proved why we're 13th in the league. We were just so average. The back 4 and the goalie was solid as usual but what let us down today was the midfield. Problem is that we don't have a bullying midfielder who'd win the ball back in the centre of the pitch. Leigerwood just bullied Carroll and Hendrick. I just find Bailey, Bryson and Hendrick are just the same and in the centre midfielder you need a variety of 2 different styled CM. If we had a Big Strong oaf who'd win the ball back in the midfielder it'd free up the others to use there engines, which all 3 have, in particular Bryson. I think in general, everything we did was just average, the passing, no movement whatsoever. I feel for young Carroll abit because he always looked to try and find a pass, but none of our players did any runs to support him. And the fact we didn't have a right midfielder throughout the game. I know he's on a cold streak but please just put Ben Davies back into the side. We don't have a right midfielder and he's the only option to balance the midfield because tonight when we went to 4 4 2, Bryson had to play on the right and looked really uncomfortable. So overall, it was a WTF performance from Derby. It really reflected on where we are in the league. So average and if we play like this every week, we'll end up being like a Barnsley type boring mid table team 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />
