RamOfKansas
Current position is 12th. If the team finishes out in the top 10 then no. If they finish outside of the 14th then think about it. Finishes outside of 18th? Very possibly. Still I'm squeamish about firing a guy after only 3 years. In his 4th year though, I would expect signifcant improvement in the standings with a far tighter leash. Trading in and out coaches too quick rarely works out well though. mwram1973
Surely a wind up!!!, were only a few points off the playoffs with a team of kids sprinkled with experienced footballers. Yes were going to put poor performancies in every now and then, but so has every other team in this league. Look at poor Leicester 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> , spent around 16mill and still below us. BOB BIGGS
Which team has a better chance of promotion within the next few seasons; us or Leicester? After all the money they've spent, the answer should be Leicester surely. Is that what you mean?

p.shilton
We are getting lucky- due to having "experienced" managers and giving them loads of cash Forest are fcucked, with our sensible spending and our "non league" manager we aren't- how lucky can we get? Ambitious
Which team has a better chance of promotion within the next few seasons; us or Leicester? If it meant none of us could buy another player... us, due to having a better young side that will grow and improve whilst a lot of their players are 'experienced' but Leicester will keep throwing money at the side to get promoted, one day they'll get it right.. surely? Sacking Clough isn't going to open the bank though! 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Although could mean we might bring in a big name manager like McClaren 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
mwram1973
Which team has a better chance of promotion within the next few seasons; us or Leicester? Promotion ain't all about money is it. Did Norwich spend millions?, Southampton haven't spent that much. Forest spent millions...result, nearing relegation. Fester spent 16 mill.. mid table. It aint all about the money is it?. Guest
Norwich and Southampton spent a fair bit... Southampton second biggest spenders this season, well third perhaps! Behind Derby ? 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ph34r' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Norwich actually spent very little during there promotion season, Southampton though have just bought Sharp. Success can be bought without money, but it takes a very good manager to acheive this, of the clubs in the top 6, how many have not spent a couple of quid this season ?
