mozza
What a tool! More money than sense. If they want to share the wealth - they could hand it out to their fans who scrimp and save every penny for their ST's. Far better doing that than lining the pockets of an unscrupilous casino boss who drives a top end merc. Just a thought. I heard that Ballotelli paid for all the other customers fuel when he was filling up his vehicle at a petrol station , rumour on facebook, so not sure how true it is, must have had a bit of loose change to dispose of , nice touch tho 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

He has a heart and likes to help folks out because he can. A friend of mine was celebrating his 21st birthday at an expensive restaurant in London a few years back and David Beckham was sat at a table. Seeing Beckham, they approached him for a photo and mentioned it was his 21st birthday. Beckham was more than happy for them to take the photo. On leaving the restaurant, they went to pay the bill and were informed that Becks had picked up their tab on his way out without saying anything to the birthday boy. The man is a true gentleman. I wish there were more like him.

I have a lot of time for footballers who are willing to give something back (it doesn't have to be money though). The thing about Becks is that he may have squillions in the bank - but he's always had time for others and I don't think he's ever taken his fans for granted. I like that about him and also the fact that he's a well groomed grounded family man. AucklandRam
My best mates dad fitted Cloughies fire place. Was offered a brandy at 8 in the morning, declined it. He had long hair at the time but wasn't told to get a haircut.
Phoenix
Not football related but.. My son's a mate of Andy Serkis (Gollum etc). Spent 5 weeks in New Zealand on the set of The Hobbit recently. My step-daughter, when she was at uni in Manchester, saw Becks and his bird looking at engagement rings . We heard it first.

RotherhamRam
I once took part in a penalty shoot out competition for Ladywood Juniors in 1987 at the Baseball Ground. This was held between local clubs about 30mins before ko when the ground used to be busy. I was 11 yrs old about 4' and bricking myself. You competed against another local team. You had to start from half way dribble around cones go into the 18yrd box and try and score against the other keeper. I was facing a monster in net and can remember dribbling the first time ok until I got to the box and it was like a scene from a horror film where there corridor seems to be never ending and that 18yrd box I swear doubled in size and scuffed my first shot whilst pooping in my pants. The second time went really well got into the box struck a shot from about 14yrds flying into the corner until the ***** of a monster keeper turned it around the post. I was gutted my dreams of scoring at the Baseball ground were dashed. I can't remember owt of the game as devasted in not scoring and I sulked for days. uttoxram75
We used to go to reserve team games in the early 70's. We'd be sorted by the stewards and I once had the whole of the Vulcan Street Popside to patrol to throw the ball back on the pitch when it came into the terrace. I ruled the popside.........
