Ramshankered Posted September 17, 2011 Share Posted September 17, 2011 Despite my dislike of BD, he has shown at each of his previous clubs a unique talent at getting poor / average players to punch above their weight and fully perform to their potential. Now his influence has gone, the Forest players 'average-ness' is being exposed and they can no longer match the same levels of last season. Ironically, McClaren was my first choice replacement *if* Clough had gone last year and I was disappointed he went to Forest. I've been genuinely surprised at how poor he's been so far, although I must admit some of the players he has brought in have struck me as bad signings. Then we performed the only way possible. Chambers and Morgan didn't get a moments peace from Robinson. Shackell had a right battle with Miller (who looks everything you'd want in a striker.... just needs to pull the trigger) Legzdins made 2 class saves. One obvious one and then another from a free kick that he made look routine. Had he performed a Hollywood dive people would be raving about it. Hard work, organisation, and real belief!
