Vickers - 6 - couldn't do much about the goal and otherwise had little to do

Wilson - 8 - fantastic to watch all night and the cross for Collins' header was sublime. More of those please!

Bradley - 5.5 - I almost want to give him a '6' but it would be out of sympathy. You just can't miss regulation headers like those. Otherwise did fine although not unduly troubled.

Cashin - 7.5 - enjoyed himself and really showed judgement beyond his tender years, as well as his usual physicality and decent passing

Collins - 8 - was going to give 7.5 but the quality of his goals is worth an 8. Did we see some confidence coming back in the way he hit the third too? He was having a pretty dire evening until he poached the first! A good night for him in the end.

Sibley - 6.5 - did some things well. Was rather shown up by some other performances but played his part.

Elder - 6.5 - nice and steady, and took over as the responsible adult at centre-back as the average age plummeted late on

Fornah - 7 - on cruise control; averted the occasional danger and kept things ticking over

Robinson - 7 - enjoyed himself more and more as the game went on and ended up at CB. Some pinpoint, cracking, crunching tackles. Hope he can push on now and get himself into serious first-team contention

Brown - 6 - not happening for him last night. As others have suggested, possibly the same-same combination with Collins?

Fapetu - 7 - what a swashbuckling debut! Possibly had the wise "old" head Fornah suggesting he rein it in a little, but what's not to like about a dropped shoulder here, a near-miss 50-yarder there... really hope he can step up for us because he's got some talent and a bit of swagger to go with it

Allen - 6.5 - encouraging cameo and nearly got himself a goal

Cox - 6.5 - for a CB (I think) he did very well out wide. One peach of a cross which could have earned him an assist on debut

Weston - 7.5 - lively sub performance and a really well taken goal. Has a real burst of pace on him, always looking to find spaces between midfield and attack. Could be ready to step up and give us some minutes in L1.

Hawkins [don't think he got on did he? If so then 6 because I don't remember him doing anything wrong!!]

Wheeldon - 6.5 - eager and muscular; a slightly longer toe and he could have had a goal right at the death

Osayande - 6 - decent enough at RB (I gather he's a CB?) and mostly found his targets with sensible passing

Really enjoyable watch in the end. It seems ridiculous not to give Collins MOTM after a hat-trick but I think he might have to share it with Kane Wilson, who was so much fun to watch. Early in the first-half he was trapped by 2 opponents in the corner. Anyone else would have knocked it off a boot for a corner, but Kane decided to take them on... and lost it. You can't have it both ways. He's that sort of player and his dribble in the second-half which mesmerised the 3 Wolves players he beat was the other side of the coin. Great stuff.

Sorry not to give Brown more but he didn't work well as a second striker. Needs to be in that central, hold-up role.

All the other youngsters caught the eye, for different reasons.

A special mention to Elder who played well in two distinctly different roles.
