Playing the league’s top scorer might have been a start. Why do we always end up with complete numpties who sabotage our chances before we’ve started? Jesus wept.

Lampard - we were unbeaten in the final 6 games (2 wins in 10 before that)

Warne - currently 5 unbeaten with 2 games still to play (3 wins in 11 before that)

Just seen that it's 5 years to the day since the home win against Cardiff under Rowett. That win felt like a huge turning point and was followed by an away point at Villa and a home win to seal the playoff spot. 

I get that Rowett's poor form went on for longer, but both felt similar in terms of late resurgences/turnarounds IMO.
