sage
Last bit of info. McGoldrick is the highest rated player in the division in terms of home games. Ellafella

DRBee
Well Hourihane is usually in the starting X1 so presumably our coaches rate him, even if he is a scapegoat for many on here. Reggie Greenwood and Caerphilly Ram 1
Comrade 86
Ah, but statto, schmatto ? In all seriousness, they look pretty much bang on. Hourihane's number will doubtless raise a few eyebrows, whilst Joe and Fozzy would probably rate higher on a purely anecdotal basis. What we do see is that those most often praised on here in match threads and the like do all figure amongst the higher rated players so perhaps there's method to the madness after all. I know most of the top clubs now have these analyses performed by in-house teams, but I'm interested to know whether clubs with lesser budgets use these and other services. It's definitely a growing sector.

Or keeper missing a half chance? And how really do you compare a defender’s worth against that of a striker ? How does this account for the fact that with Knight in midfield we are a team transformed. Or that having watched the tapes of Didzie’s magic and NML’s rampaging many defenders walk onto the pitch against us with loose bowels. it’s a mere approximation and our Fans’ rating are probably more reliable. Not least because these systems mostly test what players do and not what they don’t do
