Loved him at Derby. Probably the most exciting on-the-ball player I've seen play for us. Never understood why people preferred Ebiowei when Ebosele was just electric.

Because Ebosele was pure pace and athleticism. There was no finesse to it, often not much of a plan either. Just needed harnessing. Ebiowei had the pace but there was a class and creativity to him which Ebosele didn't have. Obviously, this is just splitting hairs and there's tremendous value to both. Just a thought why someone would prefer one to the other.

After that goal against Sheff Utd, I preferred Ebosele.  Unfortunately, he preferred Udinese via an Amsterdam break with his girlfriend.

Most liked both, didn't they? Not @TragicFlan or whatever he calls himself, obviously, as he hated the pair of them, but most others.

From the Watford Forum:

Anybody want to add this to the running total for "what we lost in Administration".

What sense does that make? They could have signed him for the compensation fee a year ago. I can only assume that it is a FFP get around?

It's odd they're transferring that much between the two clubs (if accurate), but Watford recently sold two players for £30M (cost £11M), so I imagine that sorts any FFP issues and gives them the headroom to slip nearly £40M to Udinese (including a ludicrous loan fee of £4M for Bayo (cost £5M)) to sort out their P&S issues.

Confused? Me too. No wonder the EFL can't work out what the shysters are up to.

There is a simple fix. Ban multi club ownership within a family.

Also block transfers where suspicious transfer activity takes place, for example 2 clubs say one in Greece transferring players back and forth regularly.

I agree, not least because a certain club who "do things the right (sic) way" voted against that very proposal.

Now being reported as a loan, which makes allot more sense, and is exactly what we expected to happen eventually. It's still as dodgy AF, like every transfer between the Pozzo's clubs. But the Pozzos have now gone from zeros to heroes once again with the Twatford faithful and the plastic cockneys are rejoicing once again.

The EFL need to grow some balls and ban multi-club ownership regardless of how vested-interest clubs in the PL voted. Either that, or the independent regulator should do it for the integrity of football as a whole.

Queue lots of bleating of "how dare we" - well we "dare" because we've seen what happens when clubs who've tried to go by the rules get frustrated by other clubs getting away with FFP breaches and start looking for dodges because they're fed up of being cheated with no compensation.
