24Charlie
The great escape is still on. Cardiff and Reading both lost so it’s 9 points and 8 points respectively. Cardiff interest me mostly as we really only need to make up 6 points on them before the last game of the season and one of those games is against us. So if we can beat Cardiff away in the rearranged fixture then we only need to pick up 3 more points than them from elsewhere. It doesn’t seem that daunting if you look at it this way. A good day considering. At least we got an away game out of the way ? Rammy03, 24Charlie and Kathcairns
TigerTedd
It was always inevitable we were going to lose a few. We’re not going to go unbeaten til the end of the season. So it is important we don’t panic when we do. Shame it was Forest that broke our run, but there are more important things at stake now than bragging rights. We can rub it int heir faces when we’re both still in the same league next season. The important thing is, we weren’t battered, it was a close game with another in form team. im also looking at the games in hand. It doesn’t actually matter if Barnsley and Peterborough win their games in hand. The points target would still be the same either way. 8 points. Totally achievable. We actually have to play Cardiff twice. The rearranged away fixture on 1 March, and then the home game on the last day of the season. No pressure. Not only did we get an away game out of the way, but arguably our biggest away game of the season (except for Boro away ?).
