Steve Buckley’s Dog
Three down. I wonder what the think was of leaving the young lad out after he was one of two who turned up against. Cheshire. Lamb in now. I can’t say I am too confident.

Anon
Idiotic from Patel. Using all his experience to pick out the fielder Northamptonshire set specifically for him. jimbo jones

We just had to bat the 50 overs to be honest but have made no real effort to do so. That Patel dismissal was absolutely pathetic. Looked like he didn’t give a toss if he was out or not. jimbo jones
One big partnership puts us back in the game, and the run rate required is only 5, but we've put ourselves from lots of room for error to absolutely none in the blink of an eye with the exact same reckless batting we saw at Cheshire…but left out one of the 2 who actually applied themselves well in that game. The more I see of this season the more I'm convinced there's a leadership problem.
jimbo jones
Lloyd completely misses the ball attempting a sweep and that's pretty much the game done.
Steve Buckley’s Dog
6 down. Are any of them bothered? No one seems willing to bat for any length of time without giving a wicket away. Is the dressing room rotten I wonder?
Reverend
Can it honestly get any worse than this before something is done? Its utterly pathetic.
Mihangel
The part time joker has to go, morale is shot, he can't continue - Even by our standards, this season is pathetic.

I think we can say the coach certainly isn't creating an environment where players are thriving and confident. Have they thrown the towel in on him? I think at least subconsciously they have. His approach of shouting and balling at the players, as often heard at the county ground when things have gone badly certainly isn't fixing anything. Eddie
The number of times I just make excuses to avoid going to watch has been increasing this season to the extent that mowing the lawn is far preferable to watching Derbyshire. The Covid season, when we couldn't go, was better than this one. jimbo jones
jimbo jones
Whiteley and Chappell going quite nicely, and then he lofts one straight up in the air 🤷♂️ luckily got away with it.
jimbo jones
Target is under 100 👀 Whiteley and Chappell showing that if the top order had played sensibly this would have been a doddle 🤨
jimbo jones
50 for Zak Chappell - not the first time this season that he's batted better than the so called specialist batsmen. Mihangel
Steve Buckley’s Dog
These two have been excellent so far. Showing the others how to bat properly and sensibly.

Just a worry that Chappell now looks like he can't run between the wicket 😬
