Unless there's a flurry of wickets, it could be a case of how much Yorkshire think they need before putting us in. 3 wickets for Thomson and a deflection onto the stumps from his own bowling for a run out has been a decent effort. Conners has bowled well at an economy rate of 2.81, almost unheard of for him which is promising. Chappell and Scrimshaw have been expensive and Dal has only bowled 4 overs, which is odd for a guy that got 5 wickets in the first innings…even if he was expensive in those overs.
