Steve Bloomer's Washing
Morning - our international break podcast is out now:Our very own Richard Cutcher reveals all about his one season, nine years ago, spent as Derby County's beloved mascot. What's it like inside that giant costume? Did he get on with Derby's players? How does it feel leading out your boyhood team in front of 33,000 people? Cheers, Chris
DarkFruitsRam7
Extremely inappropriate of you to spoil the magic of Rammie. Having to take a cold shower now to get over the shock of finding out he’s not real. How dare you.
Smyth_18
Th first full episode i've listened to while i was on the way to work this morning. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Will have stories to tell for the rest of his life. Can tell he's quite ashamed of his actions which he really shouldn't be. He was only trying to have a bit of fun which backfired. NorfolkRam
Always thought the injured reading player was Shane Long. This guy was the best Rammie. Can see why he felt bad, I'm sure we all would, but what he did literally goes down as one of the best Rammie moments ever.

I don't think Richard was ashamed necessarily - but I did want to make sure we were respectful of an incident which was quite serious at the time. You're right though, plenty of stories to tell the grandkids!
RadioactiveWaste
I do remember that incident v reading. It was a bit much, I do remember there being a feeling that reading were very easy going down all match up to that point.
cosmic
Always wondered why we never won that mascot race. A bloke in a pair of Mitres vs a green dinosaur with giant feet. Thought Rammie would have smashed it. Didn’t add up.
