While Bolton have denied us the space and more importantly time for our usual route to unlock teams, we need to find a different way to find the holes other than trying to pass through gaps that don’t exist.

Somebody needs to be brave and beat a man in the final third and draw a defender out of their rigid lines and capitalise on the space that creates.

Or bring on Marriott while they are still high up the pitch and send some mortars over the top for him to chase down.

It's not that we haven't tried to drop it in behind them either. We have and it's been a beautiful ball let down by poor control.

Wasted some good open crossing chances too.

Bogle has put in a handful of decent crosses but no one was getting in the box to help Nugent and so Bolton could just easily clear

Good lord. Forsyth massively overhits a cross but Bennett reaches it and I think he hit the post ?

He was on the byline when he hit the shot though so not really much chance of a goal.

But in all honesty that’s what they have done thus far- nullified is.

Nugent not in the game at all. Mount and Wilson quiet. Full backs not getting up the pitch.

A few heavy legs from Tuesday ?

He used the word several times in the lead up to kick-off. Tell him to say 'great come-back, game of two halves, and easy win for the Rams in the end!'

COYR!

Keogh shouting at Bennett and slapping himself in the face while he does it, because Bennett's cross wasn't good (and it wasn't aimed at Keogh) is, probably, not the best decision he could have made under the circumstances.

Instantly heavily deflated Bennett.
