DavesaRam
After complaints from residents in Chaddesden and Alvastton/Wilmorton the Council will be operating a team to check parking in those areas on match days, and anyone parking illegally or blocking access will be ticketed. So it you park in those areas be very careful (and considerate) in how you park.

Sith Happens
Used to park in Chaddesden and some people do park really inconsiderate. Not just to residents but to to others trying to park. The amount of times I have seen a section of the road that could easily fit 2 cars but some clown parks in the middle meaning only one car can park. People seem to think its ok to park opposite someones drive too just because no yellow lines.
IlsonDerby
I'm all for people who park like n0bs being fined. Find somewhere legal to park for free or pay the 5 quid to park on someone's drive...

jagerbob
Any normal city would have a tram line to the football ground. But this aint a normal city and when it comes to City public transport this aint even a normal country!

They took the tram out to Clifton instead, so it could serve the new 60000 stadium they were going to build. Still, they've built an over 55's residential village there instead, so it wasn't a total waste. Still get the matchday smell of piss and fried onions, too. One would hope that if there were such trams to the area of the council dump that they would go past the ground and just keep on going and going and going .................
