What do you guys think?

Might be a good idea if it means I don't have to travel to Birmingham, Manchester or London to watch any even remotely popular band and it can't be any worse than the gigs they have had at the Olympic stadium this year.

Come on! Uncle Mel reads this forum and maybe he's dropped the ball regards additional income streams?

Ignore the loss making concerts of the past, we have proper people looking after the stadium now.

Why not and aim big, saw Coldplay at the Ricoh couple of years back and thought at the time how come piss poor SISU could arrange this?

Get an headline grabber another year Mel, unless Boycie did this thread because he fancies seeing the Chillies again, eh Boycie?

Sith Happens

Is the Ricoh not rented from another company? So if they do hold any concerts will it be the football club who get the revenue? Guess it depends on the terms of the lease.

Sounds a good idea, but what happens to the pitch if we have one, especially now we have the new fangled one we have? Surely its hard to hold a concert on the pitch without causing damage?

How about just smash a big screen up and make it into a massive open air cinema for the summer months.
