Go with the Kriek or the Juniper first, wash your palate out with a porter or stout, then just dive in and enjoy.

The Harviestoun needs to be put on one side until May 24.

Had the Gin/Juniper, then the Dominion Stout, then the Otto and... yeah, the Ola Dubh (spread across about 7 hours) - I'm afraid I couldn't wait any longer, already had it a couple of months and it is my birthday afterall.

Going to have one more before I go to bed and sleep it off.

All I've had is the one (750ml) bottle of De Molen Hamer & Sikkel (a porter) which is only 5.2% and I feel utterly pissed. I've resorted to a refreshing (still) energy drink to get me through the next few hours.

Still got the Nogne / Sam Smiths / Lindemans to drink from those I bought earlier in the week. The Lindemans is a 2010 bottling, so for some reason my brain is telling me that to open it now would be a waste of 4 years in the bottle.
