If you actually look at it, it's served us well now for 3 years and we have just come up short, which isn't necessarily because of the system employed, moreso the players, injuries and management issues. If he can adapt it to suit, be flexible and improve our tempo and aggressiveness then we'll all be happy. It seems stupid, if that is the case, that Morris didn't make you manager in February, then pushed the boat out to bring in Nigel Pearson when that didn't work. On the other hand, Hughes just might be played where he is in the role that he is given for the benefit of the team, not just the individual.
