HKRam
Apparently, Baird's wife also tweeted something on Monday, before and after the match: 17:23 "I predict my prediction will be correct x" 21:43 "And I was right, as always".
The Scarlet Pimpernel
If Mrs Baird & Mrs Weimann are voicing what their husbands are thinking the solution is simple. Get rid!
trevor1946
So you think they have had a fair chance do you,If a player ain't happy when he is not involved.then that's were big, squads collapse, Pearce-Bent=Dawkins=whitbread-Weiman Baird, and some others a question mark on a few others. Rush n Morris said 18 to 20 first team squad .We have 7 strikers 7 midfield 10 defenders,A lot of expensive players not getting a game And a expensive academy were the players aint involved in the first team squad . Don't get me wrong this is Mel's, club and who pays the piper plays the tune
Spooney1963
Guys It really is not clear what Mrs Baird was referring to but does it really matter. Show a little respect, even if she was reacting badly which I doubt, we all defend and support our partners at times. I'm sure Mrs Baird only wants Chris and the club to do well, just like the rest of us. We are all in it together

I know there's decent folks on it who again enjoy the socialising and chit chat but it's basically XFACTOR Just giving everyone their own little stage to "perform". And Xfactor is full of cnuts. We see what people are like from the safety of crowds. Then you give them a website where they can be a celebrity and their opinion matters? My God! What's worse? Mrs Baird talking ***** on twitter or people actually listening? What's that? She's not happy that he was left out the squad? Nooooooooooooo! Who gives a fook? If it's a reflection of what the players are thinking then there's an easy solution. Play better. If you play well enough then fans will start asking questions for you. Why should someone else miss out for them? Someone has to miss out. Get on with it.

Kernow
I don't know how much of these tweets from Weimann and Baird's wives were from their own accords, or anger from the players themselves vented by the wives. But if I were a professional footballer and got left out of the squad (quite justifiably may I add), and my wife kicked off on a social media platform about it, I'd be right pissed off with her. Shut up, spend my money and look pretty while I try and get myself back in the squad, there's a good lass.

Weimann isn't playing brilliantly either. I'd have Weimann in the squad but he hasn't deserved to start recently. But try to see things from Baird's perspective. He came down from the Premier League (and last season he played 19 times), is a regular in his national team, and was immediately given the captain armband. So he got to have great expectations at the beginning of the season, right? You say it's probably just him? What about Hendrick. Played 41 games last season, signed a new contract too, and have been a regular starter for his national team. Did a Messi in ROI's win over Georgia and another in Derby's win over Leeds. And then what? Johnson still keeps the spot despite his bad performance, plus Bryson (and Hughes soon) are coming back. So try to see things from players' perspective. These rants and moans reflect something deeper.

He, and anyone immediately associated to him personally should know that football is based on performances. If you don't perform, you lose your place. Simple as. He was given the captains role and had a good pre-season so he started the season for us. He then lost his place to Cyrus and hasn't won it back because Cyrus has been better. Instead of complaining about not playing, which he most definitely has been used to during his career, I'd suggest a more productive thing to do is work harder and up your game. To many, Twitter has become a major part of their life which is so devoid of reality that they have to fill it with dross, no matter how ridiculous some of it might be. The vast majority I'm sure are anonymous and remain so - what I don't understand are those people who have some degree of 'fame' and feel it's necessary to inform the world of almost everything they think and do, often sometimes, to their regret. If it's true what these 2 spouses say, I don't care a toss and I'm sure neither will any sane Rams fan!
