Dale The Ram
Is it OK to just hum along to it? No.......... Could be worse you could be the ones 5 seconds out of synch and clapping out of rhythm, who are you people? go get some music lessons and learn how to keep time!!! ollycutts1982
It does get rather embarrassing when you are keeping in time with the tune when people around you are frantically peaking too soon. Terrible when the fans finish echoed 5 seconds later by the music over the tannoy. How hard is it to keep rhythm?
YorkshireRam
No.......... Could be worse you could be the ones 5 seconds out of synch and clapping out of rhythm, who are you people? go get some music lessons and learn how to keep time!!! Glad someone else understands my frustration... To be fair, they've shortened the song by removing a couple of verses, so the change in tempo is more abrupt. Unless you listen closely to the track, it is easy to slip out of time.
jagerbob
Football fans are a strange breed. Listen to how the England Rugby fans at Twickenham, listen to the tannoy to keep time when singing the national anthem, its painfully slow but they still manage it. Derby fans are some of the worst, the slow version of "when the spurs/saints/rams go marching in" is piss poor.Derby tried to steal it off spurs, then soon realised it was too slow given how impatient we are, so we have got rid of a couple of versus, and the slow bit which lasts for one or 2 lines is actually not very slow at all. SSD
People clap to Steve Bloomer's Watching like they are on speed. SLOWER!!!!!!! I look a right pudding when I'm clapping in time and everyone else's clapping rhythm is on a par with a seal.
