Twenty years ago a guy with machine gun killed three people and attacked the cops firing at them and wounding a cop as they were trying to capture him. The cops shot him in the shoulder. Here in Brazil, if a cop kills a kid for stealing a laptop, the cop is hailed as a hero by the population, and every law-enforcement agent looks the other way.
