RLACML
Did you watch / listen to the game??? I would argue quite the contrary - we defended superbly. The first goal was an incredibly lucky deflection and we withstood a barrage of attacks for the last 20 minutes or so, keeping them at bay. Buxton has to fight to earn the shirt back now in my opinion, and if there is one player I would back to do that, it's Bucko. We defended ok but not superbly. We controlled the majority of the game and still could have ended up conceding four.
RIMBAUD
I suppose that's the problem when you play CB. Make an error = goal chance. Not much scope for people to cover you.
RLACML
Agreed, I personally think Whitbread is a better player than Buxton, but as neither of them seem to be able to maintain full fitness, swapping between the two would probably be for the best. Harsh on Buxton. He missed Blackburn because of a suspension and the other two games have been the cup. People say that Buxton has been struggling with his hip but it hasn't really affected his performances imo

Leicester Ram
All I've got to say on the matter is that we've never lost a game the German CB's played in. Coincidence?
wixman1884
Whitbread is our best defender, and I'm sure everybody at the club knows it. Work out for yourselves why we don't play him every week, it's not difficult. Because he's Ginger?? Shame on you Duracell for implying such a thing. Dimmu
Beardwise: Bucko > Whitbread > Russell. I love his calmness with a ball. Classy.
Dimmu
By the way, we have never lost when Whitbread has been a starter. Good enough reason to stick with him.
davenportram
Whitbread today had nothing to do in thr first half and second half had a mare. Weak headers, scufffed passes, clearances direct to their players.

North_Stand_Ram
He was shocking. Played a part in both their goals and didn't win the ball off Jones all afternoon
davenportram
Jones spent a lot of time being marked by Fozzy on the touchline
peakram
Jones would probably be as awkward as they come in the Championship so reckon it was always going to be a tough game for the defence if they put the right balls in, though in the first half they hardly attacked at all as it happened. We still have Shotton who says it is his preferred position if Bucko is going to be out for any length, apparently his hip flexor has flared up again, Coutts still not shaken his either it seems so they seem persistent little sods!! Mafiabob
Don't think Bucko would of got any change out of Jones either today tbh....
Curtains
Curtains reply to Davenport Did you praise Whitbread for his performance at Blackburn. I don't think Whitbread was awful 2nd half he just made a couple of mistakes. Cardiff were buoyed by their first goal.
Papahet
Fackin hell. The blokes come up against Rhodes, Gestede, Jones, Maynard and Le Fondre within less than a week, having barely kicked a ball previously. How many millions there?
