tomsdubs
Honestly this has blown my mind, 8m quid for a slightly above average championship striker. To Leicester this is just a drop in the ocean now, comparatively they have a small wage bill compared to the other teams up there. The financial gap between the two leagues is just ridiculous these days. Ipswich should take the money and run, sign 4-5 decent players and go for promotion. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/5866293/David-McGoldrick-wanted-for-8million-by-Leicester.html

robglosta
Perhaps EPL teams realise Martin is out of their price range? David McG really is a poor substitute, and at 8m goes to prove that the game is a mess.
neil62uk
Pearson is obviously trying to get himself the sack ..... and the board should sack themselves if they pay that for an average championship player .. .... imo its like a premiership side offering 3 to 4 million for Sammon

Srg
Eustace is older! Don't we half know it! His quick feet are perfect for nipping the ball off attackers... Or giving away dangerous free kicks. Either or.
Papahet
Hmmmm. IF this deal comes off, wouldn't at all be surprised to see Ipswich stick in a bid for Martin, he does come from here (Suffolk) afteral.
Srg
Hmmmm. IF this deal comes off, wouldn't at all be surprised to see Ipswich stick in a bid for Martin, he does come from here (Suffolk) afteral. And Martin, having played for Norwich for a long time, would laugh and say "why on earth would I leave Derby, where I'm the main man and the team is built around me, to play some hoof ball in the middle of nowhere?" AmericanRam
Getting desparate it seems.Bound to be better quality if they are willing to spend that kind of money.Ipswich would shock me if they turned that down.
