AmericanRam Posted August 4, 2014 Share Posted August 4, 2014 Being on the cheap is fine as long as you bring in quality players which I think we have done.Of course,I would love to have millions to spend like Arsenal and other teams,but as with Man U last season having a team with high priced players doesnt neccessarily translate into success. We supposedly got 2 million from the playoff final. We got a few grand for finishing third. So we started with over 5 million without season ticket money. Still I am a tad disappointed and would have liked another couple of players permanently , and there is still time . I would have been tempted to let Keogh and Ward go which would have given us a few extra quid to spend on fresh blood. However, there's something to be said for a settled side.
