Alph
Just heard a rumour that Whitbread spent some time not injured in 2004. Not sure how true it is
oakwood87
Centre mid isn't a problem, we have plenty of depth. If Martin gets injured we are f****d unless we sign another striker. If a Keogh or Buxton get inured we only have one Championship quality left back with two players over the age 30 and a young irish centre back that didn't play for majority of last season. Roos looks good. If Forsyth got inured we have Lowe, if Christie is injured we have a problem as Freeman can't cut it in this league. We have a Bunjaku and Calero for the wing. Our main concern should be replacing squad players like Sammon with better alternatives. Because I don't want Sammon to be our recognised striker. Alph
Mark O'Brien has since 2010. Find Whitbread more annoying because he's looked decent at times in his career. I've never really liked the look of OB. We need CB cover for our CB cover!!

oakwood87
You know we need a striker because if Martin got injured you wouldn't hear any Derby fan say: "At least we have Sammon"
Stuniverse
Whitbread's is a back injury. Mats Morch also had shoulder surgery during the summer.

Every other position i think most people feel like somebody else could at least do a job there. Who could do Martin's job? If he gets injured for 9 months I'm going to buy myself some nice rope
