Dcfc111 Posted July 3, 2014 Share Posted July 3, 2014 Quick rundown... O'Brien looks taller - if not better Forsyth continuing his good work since McClaren came. Allan looked unfit. Didn't play great. Russell looked a tad heavy to me too. As did Martin. But that's no surprise. No other real things to gain from that first half. Bunjaku looks very tidy. Can tell the tuition he's had thus far. Sharrif was a live wire. Always wanting the ball and very quick. Impressed me. Bennett still needs to improve his decision making. Whitbread was playing with a cigar on. So easy for him against that opposition. Sammon is still awful (missed a 1 on 1 from 8 yards with enough time to set up a picnic table and chow down) Pretty much agree with everything although Russell put in a decent effort tbh. I was about 3 m away wen he went in for a full blooded challenge in the corner early on. Hit a great strike too. Martins..... hmm how shall I put this..... Stature is a little worrying as there really isn't long till Rotheram. Didn't stay till the end but like the look of the Sturridge lookalike on ltrial from QPR left side. We used to have to do PE in us pants if we forgot (which I never did, being a creepy swot in all things). I also kept a spare footy shirt and shorts in my locker - just in case.
