See this from Wikipedia:

James Alan Irvine (born 12 July 1958), known as Alan Irvine, is a Scottish former footballer andmanager, currently in charge of West Bromwich Albion (an appointment universally derided by the fans who bemoan the club's leadership and lack of ambition particularly chairman Jeremy Peace who on June 14th 2014 was confirmed to be tighter than a nuns vagina).

So they sack a European manager, with that continental cheque going for him, with Everton's academy coach.

If I was a WBA fan, I'd be seriously underwhelmed. And they're going to be even more pissed off when he lets us have George Thorne for 1.5m.

There premiership status  as been  fragile for a few seasons ...RELGATION CERTAINTIES  NOW .....    sign George  please ...  Tim Sherwood cant stand you ...he can only stand himself

Fragile for a few seasons? Really?

Prior to last seasons 17th place finish they had finishes of 11th, 10th & 8th.
