Ambitious
Before Christmas, it was often said we had a poor record against teams in the top 6 - although due to the fluctuation it was difficult to tell because we did beat the likes of Blackpool, Watford...etc who then dropped out the top 6 upon losing to us. Now we've got a more conclusive idea of who the top 6 will be, or at least could be - does that record still stand... good lord this is going to be long winded. Take into account, the favourites for 6th place, plus us, Wigan and QPR - here's the table.. eddie
At the end of the day, there's a reason why the team finishing third should be favourite to go up, though not necessarily with the bookmakers. They are, by definition, the best team in the playoffs. The previous 46 games proved that. Bookies odds only reflect money staked and are calculated to a) encourage more to be staked b) maximise the profit for the bookies.
King Kevin
Remember all and sundry thought the baggies would go up instead of us in the play offs. They should have done, best team lost on the day, just like when Leicester beat us . Footballing sides lost out on both occasions.

Ambitious
In fairness, Wigan, on aggregate, have lost to both us and QPR - I think it will be us and QPR in the final. 50,000 Derby fans at Wembley. In all honesty, I'm going to bet a ton of money that we don't so if we don't go up, I won't be disappointed.

Work out how much you would get back on next year's season tickets if we do get promoted, stake that on the other teams. If we're promoted, no loss really. If we're not promoted, buy 12 or 13 cases of Belgian beer with the winnings to drown your sorrows.
North_Stand_Ram
Arsenal and Hull have only been allocated 30k each for the FA Cup final, so if we were to get there I cannot see us getting much more...

That's dictated by the FA, not the Football League. Hopefully (not holding my breath though), the FL will be more sensible. Blackpool will face West Ham United in the npower Championship Play-Off Final on Saturday 19th May, kick off at 3pm with Blackpool receiving 38,545 tickets while West Ham United have 39,186. This was the allocations for the 2012 POF.

Now that's something I don't get. For the FA Cup final, 50k tickets go to fans, 20k to FA Volunteers and 20k are reserved for the club Wembley package. Now for the play off final, 10k extra tickets are given to fans but what about the additional 30,000 seats? The POF isn't part of the Club wembley package and there won't be any FA volunteers, obviously. So what happens to the other 30,000 seats?
