Curtains Posted March 21, 2014 Author Share Posted March 21, 2014 Let's say we start with Thorne, looks a bit nervous maybe unfit, we go in at half time 0-0, McClaren loves to go to a 4-2-4 and chase the game, Thorne off and bring on either Russell, Ward or Dawkins which ever one is on the bench. Sorted. The players know what they are doing, it's a tried and tested system, bish bash bosh we win 3-0 and curtains still loves Hendrick. Jobs a good'unOn your head be it. Sure, we've hit a blip but is that reason to start messing around with formations? Everyone knows what they are meant to be doing with this midfield formation, so let's keep it. Didnt work v Fester away either we were over -run.
