YorkshireRam
Found a better one http://telly.com/1HUGMWG Top strike, for me beats Bryson's 2nd at Millwall for Individual Goal of the Season. Boycie
I must admit, when he received the ball, I thought he was shaping for a cross, but he knew what he was doing, he's mastered the lobbed cross shot to perfection. Did fook all else all night, and seemed to trot about. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/13913-bamfords-goal-footage/#findComment-560237 Share on other sites
RamNut
The video is a bit deceptive. It was a shot. Deffo. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/13913-bamfords-goal-footage/#findComment-560238 Share on other sites
walkleyowl
I was sat directly in line with it in the side stand and thought it was a cross but it matters not. Boycie
I'm not sure how people can tell if a cross is a shot? In this case anyway, he's scored a few of this type of goal before, so you have to bear that in mind. But other fans won't know that. Brammie Steve
Frank Lampard puts them in like that. Ibrahimovich puts them in like that (over his head!) Digger Bamford puts them in like that. Course he meant it! Course it was a shot! Lampard and Ibrahimovich? Not bad company! Stick with us Digger! You're going places. So are we! Srg
Those thinking it was a cross, is that not because that's what we expected? I was sat in line with it and was shocked when it went in, because I thought he was crossing it. However, there's no doubt he actually meant it. RodleyRam
Can't remember a single occasion when Bamford has crossed the ball in his Derby career to date, not sure he knows how. It was a shot, 100%. And it was all he did all night, which annoys me but fair play to the lad, he's not a winger and he's scoring important goals, we didn't look like scoring last night so if it wasn't for him we'd be talking about a boring 0-0, so keep 'em coming BamBam Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/13913-bamfords-goal-footage/#findComment-560382 Share on other sites
eddie
I was racking my brains earlier as to who Patrick Bamford actually reminds me of - the fact that he can be largely inept or apparently absent for 89 minutes of a game, yet produces a moment of utter world-class quality in the other one which overshadows everything else (ok, everything apart from Bucko's Maradona turn). Then it struck me - and believe it or not, it was a Dirties player (ex-Fester) from the bad era. Allan Clarke. Georgiou
Me and my old man were berating McClaren for not taking him off for Russell instead of Ward and then he goes and does that...unbelievable.
