Portugal's a fave of mine, I've made some lovely friends there. Lovely people, they don't deserve the ***** they get from us sometimes. Corfu is beautiful, if you can see through the alcoholic haze. I always loved it as a kid - now I'm an old fart we stop at the same B&B every time (just half a mile from Bloomfield Rd - very useful for when Derby are playing), spend a bit of time walking, tram to Fleetwood, couple of beers in the Pump and Truncheon or the Casino at Coral Island, then in the evening go in the Grosvenor Casino. In Europe, my favourite places are Leiden and Bruges. Two wonderful cities - and of course especially in Bruges, beer is very much on the agenda. A brewery trip to de Halve Maan, a couple of beers (Tripel van de Garre) and some gouda cheese in the Staminee De Garre, trip on the canal tour, climb up the Belfort tower etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
