The demise of Forest

You don't want Steve spending your money.

It's not his strong suit.

looking back through his career suggests the contrary. He has said numerous times he took the wrong approach at forest, tried to do to much to soon and added the wrong type of player for that job. The players he's bought in at Derby so far have been excellent - Patrick Bamford particularly . . .

Is that true Eddie?

Forest

Last 6 Home   5W 1D   = 16

Last 6 Away    2W 4D  =   10

Derby

Last 6 Home   5W  1L  = 15

Last 6 Away   2W 3D 1L  = 8

you see, instead of bunkin off school to sell drugs and stab people, you gumps really needed to pay attention in class.

3+3+3=8

You know the 'win at home, draw away' theory. What happens when you don't win at home and draw away?

A draw at Blackpool isn't a good result. It's a shame they aren't in the top 6 or you'd probably have thrashed them 5-1.

That's the problem with being a 'top team'. There's only 6 'top teams'. There's 18 for us to bully and only 5 to lose to.

It's taken that run of form though for Forest to get within a point of Derby.

Derby's form has dipped slightly - thus Forest edging closer.... but are still behind and are now level on games played.

Forest have spent times more than Derby and Davies has said he is looking at the loan market.

Derby have spent times less than Forest and McClaren has said he isn't looking at the loan market.

Davies being typical Davies.... you know deep down he is a vile **** of a man and soon enough will feck you over in epic style.

To be fair

You haven't had your 2 best midfielders out for the rest I the season

No but we have 1 of our 1st choice midfielders out for the pretty much the whole season and had another one of them out for almost 4 months.

And we haven't got a a squad like yours. Or rather, spent the amount of money to have the squad you could have.

Would you feel sorry for QPR if they had 2 injuries?

I'm sure Billy was relieved to have Lansbury injured. Gives him an excuse if he needs one

The only table that counts is this one...

According to your own club's fixture list, Forest's last 12 league games have been:

Millwall (A) D

Sheff W (A) W

Ipswich (H) D

Birmingham (A) D

QPR (H) W

Leeds (H) W

Reading (A) D

Bolton (A) D

Blackburn (H) W

Watford (H) W

Yeovil (H) W

Blackpool (A) D

Note that you have won 1 and drawn 5 of your last 6 away. Anyway, that gives you W6, D6 - a total of 24 points, scoring 21 and conceding 10.

Derby's last 12 league games were

Middlesbrough (H) W

Blackpool (H) W

Charlton (A) W

Doncaster (H) W

Huddersfield (A) D

Barnsley (A) W

Wigan (H) L

Leicester (A) L

Brighton (H) W

Blackburn (A) D

Yeovil (H) W

Birmingham (A) D

Giving us the same 24 points over the same period of 12 games, so I should have said 'picked up no less points'. You have shaded us on goal difference though, because in the last 12 games Derby have scored 24 and conceded 17. You would have actually arrived at the magic 24 if you had been able to add up your own figures - look at Derby's away results - 2W + 3D + 1L = 6 + 3 + 0 = 9.

So in conclusion we can safely say 'no, it wasn't true, but it was a darned sight more true than your version of the truth'. But then again, you are from Nottingham, the city famous for giving the world lung cancer, whereas Derby gave the world factories and meaningful work.
