eddie
I would have to agree with the ding bats from down the road with this one. Pearce, Keane and Collymore were all really really good players as was Des Walker, but Van hooydonkey... not for me I am afraid. Of course, their best player ever.....was our Nigel.. really good player <> great
MuespachRam
really good player <> great You should look on the "kris commons" thread, the amount of people who are saying that HE is great is incredible... Not even in the top 100 derby players on my lifetime. (I would say des walker, colllymore and keane were all great)

(I would say des walker, colllymore and keane were all great) I would say that Archie Gemmill, Charlie George, Colin Todd, Roy McFarland, Dave Mackay, Kevin Hector and Peter Shilton are the only ones in my lifetime at Derby. A number of others came close.
Walkley Ram
Jake Buxton surely? Or does he go without saying. Dean Saunders?

Walker was top class in a fairly average forest team Collymore was and is, a top class cnut wherever he played.

mwram1973
20 point gap you say?, surely not. Not against the famous team that have spent countless millions getting top players in who all should have been in team of the year and they wouldn't want any of our team of low league/non league fodder. Certainly not our pub player Bucko!!. Oh it feels gooooooooooooooood. oh and "mind the gap".
May Contain Nuts
I forgot Des Walker as well who was certainly great. He was certainly great at scoring own goals at the most inopportune moment possible "http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/52665000/jpg/_52665469_forest_playoffs_01" alt="_52665469_forest_playoffs_01">
