-JW- Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Why doesn't Clough give him a chance?? He always seems to play him in the u21's and in pre season he always played against the non-league teams. He must be doing something outrageously bad in training because whenever he comes on in games he looks very good. Considering Clough tried really hard to sign the lad you would have thought he would have featured much more than he has.
Mostyn6 Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Clough wasn't very kind about him when asked last night.
rezner Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 It's a real head scratcher. I like him but I don't pick the team. Clough knows what he's doing......................doesn't he? He's cracking going forward. Maybe it's his defensive play that isn't up to scratch!!!
Stive Pesley Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 From watching him, he's an exciting creative player, but for every positive thing he does, he seems to do something stupid that costs us
HeyHudson Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 What did he say? Said something about him needing to make better decisions on the pitch (or something to that effect)
David Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Don't you need to be on the pitch to have a chance to make better decisions?
-JW- Posted September 25, 2013 Author Posted September 25, 2013 Stop nit-picking! Bald men don't get nits.
WilkoRam Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 From watching him, he's an exciting creative player, but for every positive thing he does, he seems to do something stupid that costs us Don't most of our players at the moment? I've read nothing but individual errors costing us.
Gary Teale Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 What are all these things he has done that have cost us?
LittleEatonRam Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 Jacobs won't be here at the start of next season. He'll be another player who Clough "has been looking at for some time" and for whom he was "delighted to get this deal over the line", that ends up on the scrap heap.

Yeah, I have been thinking this for a while. Just let the lad play to his strengths and not his weaknesses.
Guest Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 I'm probably on my own here but I can fully understand why he doesn't get in the starting line up.
Guest Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 hes the only player who is posotive No end product though.
DCFC_17 Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 No end product though. hasnt had the opportunity to give an end product
Guest Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 hasnt had the opportunity to give an end product Had plenty of chances off the bench. I don't see the point of playing a winger who can't cross personally.
