2 targets from Premier League clubs.

How much the squad below will change by the time the Premier League season begins is yet to be seen. Paulinho will certainly feature, meaning one of Tom Huddlestone, Scott Parker or Jake Livermore has to make way. In the fullback department Spurs are stacked high. Kyle Walker is safe in the starting eleven, but there is speculation over the futures of Assou-Ekotto and Kyle Naughton. Danny Rose and Adam Smith (an U21 fullback who is ready to push into the senior squad) could replace them, although the media at large still believes Tottenham are looking to recruit externally rather than use one of their own academy talents.

Here’s Tottenham’s Barclays Asia Trophy squad:

Goalkeepers

Hugo Lloris

Brad Friedel

Heurelho Gomes

Defenders

Kyle Walker

Kyle Naughton

Benoit Assou-Ekotto

Jan Vertonghen

Michael Dawson

Steven Caulker

Younes Kaboul

Daniel Rose

Midfielders

Aaron Lennon

Andros Townsend

Gareth Bale

Tom Huddlestone

Mousa Dembele

Sandro

Scott Parker

Jake Livermore

Tom Carroll

Gylfi Sigurdsson

Lewis Holtby

Forwards

Clint Dempsey

Jermain Defoe

Emmanuel Adebayor

Kelly should be 999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999/1

Nigel said the player has Championship experience, Kelly has never played in the Championship

Am I the only one thinking 'Is this all 2 Mill gets us :/ '

1.3/1.5 million

It's two sets of wages instead of one, that's 500,000 right there.

England u21

Experienced CB playing in the PL who's been promoted with three clubs

And we don't know if that's it yet.

I think it'll be Smith for sure - which by all accounts has already proved himself a good championship player.

Very shrewd signing - no doubt it'll be a view for a permanent (for both club and player)

He said he doesn't want to go to the Championship again though.

was probably before options closed up for him though, he hasn't been took on tour with spurs so maybe that has pushed him to accept another loan, or maybe he was waiting on cardiff?

either way, it looks unlikely a premier league club is going to pay for him, and it looks unlikely he'll be in spurs first team for the upcoming season.

He rejected QPR back in may, so nearly 2 months ago - when options might have looked a little brighter.

Maybe you're right. Never seen this guy play but from the noises everyone is making he sounds like he could be a perfect replacement for brayford

Reminds me of the Dave Jones loan, wasn't with a view to a permanent but once he was here and playing week in, week out, it tipped the balance in our favour.
