knabby crackers
I first met her when Nigel was about 10 and he was playing, as was my son, for Redwood FC, she was a lovely gracious lady who faced any adversity with great fortitude. R.I.P.

North_Stand_Ram
I hope there is. I reckon they'd have asked Clough and he might not of wanted the fuss?

ladyram
Eyup Cisse, It won't be ignored as such, just quietly acknowledged by people in their own way. A kind of bittersweet day for Nigel and the family in particular, first game, new season and all that, Mrs Clough will be poignantly and sadly missed by everyone tomorrow. Sad day...but there's no doubt Nigel is a very private person anyway and I think his mum would have wanted business as usual on matchday.
