Given that in the last five seasons we've faced four promoted and one relegated side I'm going to go with the law of probability and predict a match against a side we've played this past season. Seven out of the last eight opening day matches have been at home too so I'll go with an away day to start. I don't think we ever play Forest on opening or closing day and I can't recall a local derby elsewhere on these days either (Everton v Liverpool, United v City etc). I think it might be programmed into the fixture computer not to allocate these games to the opening or closing day. First up....................... Millwall (a) Last orders.................
