SuperSheep
How many goals can you see this guy getting? I honestly don't know why we signed him. He's always on his arse and whining at the referee.

Srg
More than Sammon given the same game time.
Joel
7-10 for next season depending on how many he plays. Should we sign Russell or another, I don't think he'll play all too often.
SuperSheep
10-12 I reckon. Similar to Steve Davies only I think Martin has more ability.I guess he was unlucky with the two disallowed goals. But I thought a loan helps you see how good a player is and he didn't impress me to much. One pro is that he probably has the best touch in the team, but let's be honest its not too difficult
Ambitious
I think he'll chip in with a fair few - can't see him playing that much. I expect Sammon and whoever to be first choice and then Martin and perhaps Bennett to fill in otherwise - I can see him getting 7/8 goals though. DcFc Dyycheee
Didn't Nigel say he was going to rotate all the strikers around, so I can see him playing 30+ games with about 20 being starts.
SuperSheep
Will that mean Bennett getting more game time?
Ambitious
Will that mean Bennett getting more game time? Yes, I should imagine - be interesting to see how he develops but I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up a key figure in our team another Will Hughes saga
DcFc Dyycheee
I hope Bennett doesn't play this season.
Shuff264
I read somewhere it would be a 4-3-3 with clough wanting 6 striking options - Sammon/Martin/Ward/Jacobs and two others to rotate. Probably rubbish but you never know.
Srg
Can't see Clough playing a 4-3-3.
t'oldu
Yes he did say he was going to rotate - ie rest them when they needed it and bring alternative partnerships off the bench to change the manner of play.. He talked of the 4 existing strikers +the development of Bennett and bringing in another experienced striker who had different strengths. Fox in the box?? There is consistent talk of bringing in players in specified areas but seems to be one that remains unspecified. This may be a second new striker, bringing the total to 6, I had assumed it would be a midfield general but he is now saying he is leaving the midfield untouched. So maybe the interest in Russell does not preclude that in Vaughan. Or ANother.
