Our top XI and Bench at the moment

Legzdins

Brayford Keogh Obrien Roberts

Coutts Hendrick Hughes Davies

Ward Sammon

Fielding Jacobs Oconnor Bryson (maybe) Robinson Freeman Bennett

Their best XI (i am guessing but we need a forest fan really)

Goalkeeper (???)

Jara Ward Collins Halford

Gillett

Cohen Majewski Lansbury

Cox Sharp

Goalkeeper ?? Moloney Moussi Mcgugan Derbyshire Greening Harding

Ok now my point here is three of their team arent even their players Sharp (Southampton) Jara (West Brom) Ward (Norwich)

So how can they possibly have a better "Togetherness". I am not being bias cause i am a Derby fan but simply they cannot be more together than our squad. That is the point i am making.

Finally he says their players are more in demand and lists Ayala and Sharp. They are not even their players 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> and Reid and Blackstock being in demand really i mean they cant be serious. What premiership team would want Reid or Blackstock.

We have a younger, more valuable squad and they dont like it. Fair enough Forest could just buy loads of good players soon but right at this moment i think Derby are in a better position. Just my thoughts not expecting everyone to agree obivously.

Don't want to sound like an old granny but is there any talk of it being in any kind of doubt at this stage? Got a train booked from London and now looking at flights (to change at Belfast!) if the roads are too bad.

At this point nothing's cancelled. Keep checking the weather updates thread, people from different areas telling us what's happening where they are.

Hope you make it 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Rams remain confident Saturday's game will go ahead as planned.

Derby County are confident that Saturday’s local derby against Nottingham Forest at Pride Park Stadium will go ahead as planned, based on the current weather forecasts which were available on Thursday afternoon.

Snow is forecast during Friday and as a result, the Rams have put plans in place to ensure Pride Park Stadium is ready, and safe, for the big game against the Reds on Saturday lunchtime (1pm kick-off).

The areas around Pride Park Stadium were gritted by the Rams on Thursday, as well as Derby City Council.

However, with snow expected to fall during daylight on Friday, Rams staff will be out in force throughout the day in order to clear any snow that does fall, as well as re-gritting all areas in-and-around Pride Park Stadium. The clearing-up operation will continue, if required, into Saturday morning.

The club has also been in regular contact with Derby City Council (Street Pride), who have reinforced the message that the walkways and roads approaching Pride Park Stadium will continue to be re-gritted in order to stay in a safe condition.

The Pride Park pitch is in perfect condition, with the under soil heating ensuring that the playing surface is fine and had been covered during the early part of the week by the groundstaff – while work has been taking place throughout the week to ensure the walkways and seating areas inside the stadium are safe

.

Derby County President & Chief Executive Sam Rush said: “We’re gearing up for the game going ahead as normal, and our staff have worked hard in the last 24 hours to ensure plans are in place for the game to go ahead as planned.

“Based on the information we are getting at the moment, we’ll be able to deal with the snowfall expected and the game will go ahead as planned.

“It’s our biggest game of the season and we’re determined for it to take place, and we’re all extremely excited about the prospect of a sell-out crowd heading to Pride Park Stadium.”

The club is also advising supporters to ensure they give plenty of time when planning their journey to Pride Park Stadium for Saturday’s game.

NOTTINGHAM Forest have called off their search for an 'experienced' keeper – and will hand the number one spot to Karl Darlow.

Manager Alex McLeish had stated that he would look for a senior replacement for Lee Camp, who has been told he can leave the club.

But he has been impressed with the impact made by Darlow and will instead give him the opportunity to establish himself.

And new signing, Kuwaiti international Khalid Al Rashidi, will provide competition for places, once he has had time to settle in to the English game.

"The only keeper coming in will be Khalid, the Kuwaiti player who we have successfully secured a work permit for," said McLeish.

"He will be back up to Karl Darlow until as such time as he acclimatises.

"Then it will be a big fight between the two guys."

Guys apologies as this is slightly off thread but I am taking my lad to the match ths weekend (his first visit to PP) and was wondering if anyone could advise me on a sensible place to park? We'll be coming from Oxford on the morning of the game and I dont know the ground or the city well.

Thanks in advance 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

There are many car parks on Pride Park itself - all the local companies charge a fiver.

We tend to park up in the estate around the popular pre match pubs on the way to PP. Then walk it into the ground. Walk takes about twenty minutes and is fine if you have a kid, it's what I've been doing since I was 5. Really good for soaking up atmosphere too.

Parking update - I park at the Harvester for a fiver.

Weather update - it's been snowing for the last four hours in Littleover, not the big, thick snow, but snow nonetheless; if there's heavy snow all day tomorrow as predicted I'd be surprised if the game went ahead. (sorry Mike, hopefully lightning can't strike twice)
