davenportram
I wore what I was given and was grateful for it. When I did have my own money I bought cheap stuff to make it go further Not a slave to fashion or trends I was an individual

ladyram
I've just spent 75 quid on a pair of Skechers trainers (I'm on my feet a lot and wanted comfy) and my left foot hurts all down one side every time I wear them. sage
Other than playing sport, the only shoes i wore from 90-94 was black desert boots. As one pair got knackered, i d buy another pair, wear them from the shop and put the old ones in the nearest bin.

Guest
http://www.80scasualclassics.co.uk These pretty much have the style that was going when I used to visit the columbo. Managed to get a pair if adidias malmo the other day, gone up in price since the originals, inflation and nowhere near the quality.
ladyram
DM's are built to last that's for sure and if they're comfy too that's a bonus. They're too bulky for me though, I'd feel like I'd got a brick on each foot.

There's some nice walking boots that I like, they'd be great, particulaly now the weathers changing and I've worn me other boots out. Are they as comfy as Clarkes?
