So... let me get this straight... today I witnessed Ravel get a brace, and a Derby player win a good old fashioned shoulder barge without conceding a foul or injuring themselves!  And now I see we have closed ground on our rivals.  Whatever next!  ?

Some solid performances there today, with a big shout for Cashin, but Byrne was back to his majestic self, and gets my nod for motm.

Hey Reading... Mind the gap!   ?

Got to agree on Byrne. I was just thinking today his workrate is fantastic. A great player for the club.

i sincerely hope that the joke was supposed to be that deep - to make people reflect on why it's still OK to hate on / laugh at gypsies even though they were also victims of the holocaust. It certainly didn't get taken that way but it does raise a good point - reflecting back on us the attitudes that drove the holocaust in the first place.

I'm not a big Carr fan personally, the one liner thing is just not for me. But, if you ever see him in interview or in his book he wrote on comedy, it does convince me that he is the sort of person when would think deeply about the wider point of a joke or the 'why' of a joke.

  3. Have Stoke tickets gone off sale now? Were they sold our or do you think pay on the day be available?

I know this is hard to say at the moment.

Edit: apologies have found the answer.

For anyone else interested. On sale at the ticket office until the 29th. No pay on the day available.

Again we seem to be playing a team playing at the peak of their form so its going to be a tough one..I think we can beat anyone on our day so am confident we can but certainly will be a very tough game..

I agree, they've been playing well.

But take out the B'ham game and we have been a very difficult team to beat this season.

Will be a close one, I hope we edge it.

Agree it would be tricky to get the proportions exactly right, but there are a good 3 - 400 of us who would prefer to sit.

We moved at WBA into an empty block at the front to do this, but were followed by 20 - 30 lads who stood in front of us despite there being plenty of room in the stands behind us. It's like we're invisible. ? They weren't in their assigned seats any more than we were! ?

I stand at 80% of away games and don't really mind providing I am not being pushed about and abused by our own fans. I do want to watch the game, though, strangely. ?‍♀️ Sometimes that's very difficult!

Anyway, I haven't given up yet, and as I say, some games are better than others.

I seem to remember when I bought an away ticket at Cardiff back in the N Clough days that I had two options, something along the lines of 'Singing and standard' or something like that.

Not sure if this is something I've dreamt though... ?

Unless the rules have changed, this isn't correct. On two occasions in recent years I've arrived just before half time and got in no problem. Once when my train back from a meeting in Bristol was delayed and another occasion when I was working in Northampton.

I disagree with @Philmycock If you have/or want to get a ticket. it doesn't defeat the object. At least you'll be supporting the club and get to see half the game. I'd do it provided it's not too far out of your way.

Did you get in via a gate or with steward assistance?
