The 88/89 team was brilliant.. With a few more players that team was going places. In 89/90 they started well then but there was little investment in the team. Goddard left to go to Millwall. That was the catalyst. Mick Harford joined and the end of the season was awful, just had enough points to stay up. The lack of new players continued in to 90/91 and then relegation..

I've been following this topic and not really posting so forgive me if this has already been raised.. 

When bolton came out of admin in 2019 they had 2 years to clear their debt at 25p in the £1 so as to avoid a 15 point deduction. (see link) 

I've not seen or heard anything like this for Derby's situation, it just seems like debt needs clearing now to avoid the 15 point penalty.. Anybody know why this is so? 

Or is it simply because most of Derby's debt is football creditor and hmrc so needs paying now? 

I'm going tomorrow..

Painful memories of this day, I was a teenager and went with a group of fans in convey. Just remember the Harkes miss to this day and that 1st Leicester goal /assault in the goal at the Derby end. 

And yes every bridge in Leicestershire.....

Rams fan since mid eighties, that will never ever change. I did live in Genoa, Italy back in 1999 and watched Sampdoria, and really enjoyed it despite seeing them get relegated. So I sort of added a team in a foreign land for a while .. I only keep an eye out for their results now. Too much hard work and emotional investment following the Rams!
