It's a habit, A ritual, A social outing, A love affair with something that's either been passed down by your parents or you just liked Derby County so supported them. I've mates that still go, 55+ years and all ST holders, For them now...Win-lose or draw it's no big deal, They're back in the boozer 30mins after the game talk about what happened for an hour at PP...beer kicks in and all the jokes and stuff come out. Their away days are off the menu, Cost, Travel and the "yoof" that follow DCFC are reasons they give, Interesting one or two are now looking at staying in the pub with the amount of fixtures that they think DCFC will be involved in next season, But I know they wont 😊the reason is GUILT! they'll feel awful if they bail out 😬

2pm after Sunday dinner, 20+ yoofs on Chadd Park, Yes jumpers for goal posts and we always had a spare ball, 10 HT then home for tea at 5pm, Nowt on telly on Sunday Night only Sunday night at the London Palladium so out cherry knocking, Cat Creeping or Scrumping in the Summer Aye them were the days are lad 😉 Now we have wall to wall TV football from around the world, Computer games, iPhones ect ect 🙄

I venture down to Sinfin Moor Park on a Sunday Morning, Quite a few under16s and lower age teams play down there, Unfortunately Derby City Council have cut back on Senior teams pitches so not sure where the adult teams play. Yes those 20 a side and 10 half time games are finished, As no one wears jumpers now so they have no goal posts, And the kid that was crap at the game we never see anymore as he was the only one who had the football 😁

Ah bless ya cstand 😉, Sky and it's billions of £s run the game today...you know it, I know it, The majority on here should know it, The demand for the game in England is in wanted world wide...the supporter here doesn't count for didley squat 👍
