What am I reading? I know we've all been through some right bottle jobs following Derby, but come on.

    Barnsley ruled themselves out yesterday.

Peterborough have a horrifc run of games in 21 days and rely on a high energy game.

Bolton really struggled to beat a poor Bristol Rovers team and haven't taken any more points than us over the last 5 games - and we've had to navigate Portsmouth, Blackpool, and Bolton themselves in that time.

Wycombe are playing a final this evening....beat them and it leaves 2 home games and Cambridge away.

Honestly, I can see us winning the next 2, and Bolton drawing against Portsmouth, and it all being all being effectively over. Only 6 days to wait.

Wouldn't that be just lovely jubbly. A stress free final day of the season, not having to smash Simmo's Carlisle, and best of all, the final day fixture of Peterborough vs Bolton being a dead rubber.

Would it be too much to ask for to be able to then sit back and watch Leeds suffer play off heart ache again (remember the last time 😀😀😀) and Forest to be relegated - on the last day losing at Burnley?

Sibley and Wildsmith in particular a bit shaky first half. Which way is the rain blowing? Perhaps may be a factor so the second half will be in our favour.

We're finding a lot of space behind their left back on the counters, so Wilson, Ward and Mendez-Laing will continue to have a lot of joy. Rafferty is also struggling to deal with Blackett-Taylor when he's running at him.

Expect Blackett-Taylor, Collins, Smith and Ward to be withdrawn for Thompson, Waghorn, Collins and Fornah between the 70th and 80th minutes

Collins replacing himself! Crikey. We'd have seen everything then 😀😀😀

We were the English Champions and  Carlisle were relegated.

Just in case some of the younger supporters might think the above contains a typo here is the important bit again "We were the English Champions"😂

Wow. I never realised that Manchester United weren't even in the top flight when we won the league that year!

They ultimately went on to become the biggest club in the world, and we......

Still, the DCFC sun is starting to rise again now.

No one is ever beating 11 points, and I've long since made peace with that.

The rest of it is just whatever, but Sheffield United are truly horrific. That's 16 goals conceded in their last 3 home games (a record). 3 teams have scored more goals at Bramall Lane this year than they have.

Sheffield United are truly horrific, and their fans are a complete disgrace.

During THAT season I believe our fans were voted Player of the Season. Every game was a sell out, and bizarrely, the longer the season went on, and the more we fell behind the rest of the league, the better the support was at Pride Park. We took the piss out of ourselves, and every set of away fans that turned up. It seems some of our best times as fans have been when we face adversity. Strange bunch us Rams fans.

Last night Brammel Lane was half empty by half time. Tin pot club, with tin pot fans.

Think the rule these days is you can stay on the pitch after treatment if it’s resulting from a bookable challenge.

but yeah, these rules need changing. Can’t use a feigned goalkeeper injury as a team talk time out. Stop players all going over to the sideline like that.

I've long thought that perhaps the management team should be based away from the touchline, like you sometimes see in Rugby League (I think).

It would stop a lot of the current shenanigans involving managers and indeed the fourth official.

Surely a manager / head coach would also benefit from a decent view up in the stands somewhere.

Occasionally you have to adjust your formation to suit the opponent but why we faf about with it quite as much as we do I don’t know.

This squad is ideal for 433 especially now we have some bite in the middle. We’ve got decent wide men so I don’t understand why we don’t utilise is more often then not, especially at home to Shrewsbury.

Occasionally yes, when perhaps you are lacking in confidence, or playing a team above you and on a roll, but when at home, on a great run, against a team that have a dreadful away record and are way below you in the league?

Yes, maybe coming to Pride Park is their cup final. It will be the same for most Premier League teams going to Man City, or Championship teams going to Leicester. Are they tinkering with their formation? I doubt it.

And using having Cashin out missing as an excuse is poor. We have enough CHs to keep a consistent formation.

PW needs to establish an identity, recruit to it, and play that way consistently. You'd think this far into the season we would have stopped bloody tinkering. We are 2/3rds through the season. We should know what we are doing by now
